- Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be satisfied.
- Blessed are we when we are fed by those who hunger and thirst for justice.
- Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.
- Blessed are we when we are embraced by the merciful.
- Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
- Blessed are we when we are touched by the pure of heart.
- Blessed are the peacemakers,for they shall be called children of God.
- Blessed are we when we are involved in moments of peace-making.
- Blessed are those who suffer persecution for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- Blessed are we when we meet with those who suffer persecution and long for the world that God desires.
